Danilo is one of the nicest guys you will meet in and out of the water. His big smile and laidback vide are seen and felt wherever he travels. Originally from North East Bahia, Brasil, he now resides with his family on the North Shore of Oahu. He received the prized Billabong XXL “Ride of the Year” and $50,000 for his massive paddle-in, air-dropping ride at Pe’ahi in February of 2011. He also received the inaugural Milosky Mettle Award in recognition of the North Shore surfer who best embodies the legacy of Sion Milosky. Whether it’s an outer reef free surf or during one of the BWWT events, Danilo is one to watch.
