Shane Dorian at Todos Santos 2010

Shane Dorian has long been hailed as one of the greatest surfers on the planet, especially when conditions are extreme. This shot shows his poise and control as he leans into a saving bottom turn after a deep takeoff. The contest was held February 28th, 2010, the last day of the contest window, and it turned out to be a really special day. Big wave standouts from around the world showed up to compete and support the launch of the Big Wave World Tour.
